We invite you to consider one of the following ways of contributing to the library.

Library Associates

  • join this informal group of individuals who have made a donation to the University of Toronto Libraries
  • how to join: make a donation! see the DONATE NOW menu option at the top of this page. All donors to the library are automatically members of the Library Associates
  • events: three lunches with speaker are held during the academic year

Friends of Fisher

King's College Heritage Society or the President's Circle

  • Individuals who include the University of Toronto in their estate planning become members of these organizations depending on the levels of their donations. See more information on these two options.

Library Book Room

  • the place to buy unusual curated used books in excellent condition; most popular materials are poetry and philosophy; greeting cards are also for sale
  • proceeds go to the library
  • located on the second floor of the Robarts Libray Building; open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00-3:00.
  • to donate books: there are two drop boxes that are always open, on the ground floor near the escalators, and on the 2nd floor between the administration area and the cafeteria
